Jan Metzger

Lead Trainer

Jan has been dedicated to dogs her entire life. She has owned German Shepherds for over 40 years and has been rescuing German Shepherds and Belgian Malinois since 2007, serving as the NC Adoptions Coordinator for Southeast German Shepherd Rescue and placing thousands of dogs in forever homes. She holds a Master's Degree in Education, and as the daughter of a retired Air Force Lt. Colonel, she understands structure and consistency from the inside. Jan lives in Wilmington with her two boys.

Bradley McKee

Trainer

Bradley has been around dogs all of his life. Raised alongside German Shepherds through his mother's breeding program in Chicago, dogs were never a hobby for him — they were part of the household, the routine, and the foundation of how he understands behavior and structure. That upbringing shows in his training: calm, consistent, and built on reading the dog in front of him.

Kristin Roberts

Trainer

Kristin grew up with horses and dogs as part of her life — a passion that drove her to devote four years of high school strictly to animal science classes, along with extensive hands-on time in veterinary settings. She brings that animal-science grounding to every lesson: read the dog first, then train it.

Lance Morgan

Trainer Assistant

Lance has spent his entire life surrounded by canines. His passion began young — assisting with German Shepherd rescues and participating in adoption events — and he later served as camera assistant for his mother, recording her training sessions. He's grown up inside this work, and it shows.
